Fun Street Trivia

December 10, 2007

Here is a bit of fun trivia to start the week off.

One classic Corrie character left the street in a rather poetic way. Sitting in a taxi on the way to the train station, the driver asked if they would be away long. The character replied, “Ah, now there’s a question.”

Come on and flex your street knowledge. Which character uttered those words?

I figured as much…I remember now her leaving…getting into the taxi and I don’t believe she said a damn word.

    My second guess is Hilda.

I know it wasn’t Danny, but it sure seems like something he’d say.

I have no idea about the answer – but just wanted to warn people that the main page of http://www.csvu.net has a little spoiler on it. I tried to quickly avert my eyes – but I believe it was a quick summary of the week’s events as it aired in the UK. Nothing too major but it did talk about one or two plotlines.

Well, Anon has it. It was Elsie Tanner. And, according to the internet, this “tart with a heart” was born Elsie Grimshaw. Interesting …

Yay! I got the right answer. Elsie Tanner was my all time favourite character. When I first starting watching the show Gail and her friend Suzie were boarders at Elsie’s house.
