To all the Scots out there I raise my glass as we celebrate the 250th birthday of Robbie Burns.
To all the Scottish-Chinese Canadians out there, in recognition of New Years tommorow, I wish you Gung Haggis Fat Choy!

Ex-Pat Scots might enjoy a listen to Spirit of The West’s “The Old Sod” today. Great Canuck band with Celtic influences.
It’s my daughter’s birthday today and I always wish her Happy Robbie Burns Day! She knows all about it because of her Scottish grandmother, great aunts and uncles, etc but says her friends never seem to have heard of it.
We do need some good Scots shows on TV and music like they have on St. Patrick’s Day.
I love Toddish McWong. Not so sure I’d wanna try his Haggis Won Ton, though.
