Michael Byrne, the actor who plays Ted Paige, also played the role of a Nazi villain (is that a bit of redundancy?) in the classic 1978 film Force 10 From Navarone, featuring Harrison Ford, Robert Harris and Barbara Bach, among others.

These kind of things mess me up a bit…when you associate an actor too much to a character.
From now on I’ll be watching Corrie thinking, ‘Oh no Gayle…your da is a nazi!’
I also can’t watch David Thewlis in the Harry Potter movies without thinking, ‘Oh no, kids, watch out…he’s really that nihilistic rapist Johnny from ‘Naked’.
I need to get out more.
