Upcoming Storylines – Too Good Not to Share

I know there’s a spoiler-free policy here at Corrie Canuck but I heard a few things about upcoming storylines that I just had to share. If you don’t want to be spoiled, read no further.

Things to watch out for on the Cobbles:

  • Facing pressure from the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs to overseas locations, Carla decides the only way for Underworld to survive is to change the product from knickers to fetish wear. And you won’t believe who takes home a dominatrix outfit of her own. Hint: it rhymes with Schmally Schmebster.
  • Jack Duckworth is being written out of the show as the actor Bill Tarmey has been tapped to replace David Tennant as the next Doctor Who. The character will be killed off when he is pinned underneath a collapsing pigeon cage.
  • David Platt is sent to live with his uncle Stephen in Canada in an effort to get him to straighten up and fly right. Watch for some episodes filmed on location in Montreal as David gets a job delivering barbeque chicken in Cote-St-Luc and for David to come home with a sexy French-Canadian girlfriend named Avril Poisson.

It’s gonna be a good spring, I think.

    Poisson d’avril! HAHAHA!

I can’t wait for these new plots! (HA!)

  2. Michigander Fan says:

I know Liz Dawn’s health isn’t great, but perhaps the actress who plays Betty could be tapped as the new Rose Tyler? They could set up the Tardis with an oven so she could supply the hotpots…

    MF

  3. Pantagruelle says:

LOL! I love the Avril Poisson / poisson d’avril line.
I could totally see David doing delivery for Tit-Coq. Little rooster characterizes him to a tee–all crow and no teeth. At least not yet.
Having Jack die under his pigeon cage would be a very fitting way for him to go, especially after how he threw his back out last night but also in terms of dying in the arms of his one true love.
    Thanks for the smiles!

Subtle, with the poisson d’avril. Nicely done.

Also good, David gets a job at the Couche-Tard. Not for any particular reason other than I find Couche-Tard to be an inherently funny expression.

  5. glacia says:

I want Mr. Glacia’s Bubby to be the Blanche of the Cote-st.luc set.

    Well done mon ami.
