Carla is determined to get her factory back from Nick and is planning to call in the attorneys and George, who owns the bar/factory. Meanwhile on the street, Leanne is giving Nick a hard time over cutting Carla out of the deal. He said he needed to do something but Leanne counters that Carla was just through the worst experience of her life (and she’s had a few). Leanne is a little more worried when she sees Janice, whose livelihood is at stake.
Janice comes into the factory to tell everyone they’re about to lose their jobs and Nick comes in behind her to tell everyone to get back to work. Later Leanne commiserates with Janice over the fact that the workers are caught in the middle of this fight between Nick and Carla.
Carla tries to hire Bill and Jason to rebuild the entire factory when Owen Armstrong, who has a team of 20 builders, swoops in and takes the deal from under the them.
Later Nick tries to apologize for his recent actions so Leanne agrees to call George for him. George agrees to extend his stay at the factory. Leanne then tells him that she and him are done.
