Update for Tuesday, April 26, 2011. It’s Not Business. It’s Personal. But it’s also business.

Carla is determined to get her factory back from Nick and is planning to call in the attorneys and George, who owns the bar/factory. Meanwhile on the street, Leanne is giving Nick a hard time over cutting Carla out of the deal. He said he needed to do something but Leanne counters that Carla was just through the worst experience of her life (and she’s had a few). Leanne is a little more worried when she sees Janice, whose livelihood is at stake.

Janice comes into the factory to tell everyone they’re about to lose their jobs and Nick comes in behind her to tell everyone to get back to work. Later Leanne commiserates with Janice over the fact that the workers are caught in the middle of this fight between Nick and Carla.

Carla tries to hire Bill and Jason to rebuild the entire factory when Owen Armstrong, who has a team of 20 builders, swoops in and takes the deal from under the them.

Later Nick tries to apologize for his recent actions so Leanne agrees to call George for him. George agrees to extend his stay at the factory. Leanne then tells him that she and him are done.

In Other News

Graeme is settling in well with Emily, but not Norris. He also used the “l-word” with Tina and now thinks he just committed relationship suicide. Ashley charges £4.10 for beef skirt. At least Dickie Turpin wore a mask.

It’s Deirdre’s birthday, as well as Simon’s so a sad little train cake is had by all.

Nobody really believes that child services agency gave Eddie Windass a kid named Rory but he claims to have been fast tracked after his speech to the group last week.

Lloyd and CH-eryl and her kid are settling in nicely.

The factory workers face unemployment but at least they got to see Ciaran in his undercrackers.

Since Nick & David are half brothers, we have to believe that their twisted, selfish behaviour is inherited or learned from their mother, the eternal doormat. Go figure!
A lot of cast members must be on early vacations. Where are Sally, Kevin, Claire, Molly, Tyrone, etc. etc.?
May I say I hope John gets caught & ends up back in jail, so that Fizz can get on with an honest life?!

Not going to lie…if I had to choose between my job and seeing Ciaran in his undercrackers, I’d have to think about it.

Does anyone else think that it’s amusing, and terribly unhygienic that Ashley and Graham don’t take off their gloves to answer the phone or give change? I’m not so sure I would buy my meat there.

…unless of course Ciaran was serving me in his underpants…

I had the same thought about those butchers handling meat, then change, then the phone. Where are the health inspectors these days?

Nick and Carla must still be partners so why is he cutting Carla out? Doesn’t he own 40% of Underworld? If she gets it going again he should still be a part of it unless something’s changed.

I think the actress who plays Sally was off getting cancer treatment in real life so the rest were probably given extended vacations while she was gone. I don’t miss Molly and Kevin.

Did anyone see Roy and Hailey on Cityline today? They both seem quite nice and friendly but her hair is blonde which doesn’t suit her as well as the dark hair.
