    It’s a great little podcast! And.. Betty Driver not only can’t make hotpot, she’s a vegetarian!

    Wow! This should be required listening for all stage mother types! One of the advantages of being 90 is that you can say what you like, although I suspect Betty Driver has been direct for a long time. It’s sad that she dislikes her own singing voice. Personally, I find it wonderful – open, honest, no affectation, just good pitch, diction, phrasing, time, with a sweetness in the voice that seems lost in this generation. I’m glad the Coronation Street cast & crew have been a family for her, since her own lacked so much.
