Eileen needs a new roof. She should call the landlord. Oh, wait. She bought the place so that’s her now. Insurance won’t pay, and bank won’t give her a loan and when she goes to Owen, he refuses to take on the work when she tells him she can’t pay the full amount up front.
So when Carla comes in with a £10,000 cheque for Owen’s work at the factory, Eileen tells her to leave the name blank and proceeds to write “Eileen Grimshaw” right on there and deposits it. Then when Owen hears that she took care of Carla’s payment he has a change of heart and agrees to fix her roof and she can pay him back as she can.
So what’s she gonna do when Owen finds out about the cheque?

That’s just what I call him) knocks her over as he finishes burgling her flat. I missed a bunch of episodes. Why is he doing this? Something to do with revenge against Lloyd?
