This week, in an M. Night Shyamalanesque twist, we found out that the culprit terrorizing Roy’s Rolls was … Roy himself! The stress of learning that his estranged father had died has lead to a great deal of stress in his life which has manifested itself through sleepwalking.
It came to a head when Roy went for a stroll on the Red Rec and he was accosted by some young toughs. Fortunately Deirdre found him and took him home. Now Roy has had to apologize to Beth, Craig, and Kirk in the form of free food.
Craig, for his part, doesn’t want anything to do with any apologizes because, as he said, he’s done a terrible thing. This clearly had something to do with Karl and Sunita.
Emily fell off the ladder and had to recuperate at home in a cast. Spider and Frida sent DVDs and various presents to keep her occupied but Norris tried to pass them off as his own, fearing someday he wouldn’t be wanted at Emily’s. It was refreshing to see a different side to a character who has become so one note lately.
David is sowing the seeds of destruction between Leanne and Nick by subtly suggesting to Nick that Leanne may have feelings for Peter and not so subtly ordering flowers for Leanne and allowing Nick to think Peter sent them. He’s a regular Peter Baelish, that David.
Tim is behind on his rent to Dev and not doing such a good job taking care of Faye but when he goes off to Newcastle for a job, she lies to Anna and says he’s still there so she doesn’t have to go home.
Tina’s taking the decision to give Jake back to Izzy and Gary pretty hard.
And that’s it for me. I’m on vacation and I’ll back in Canada on July 31st. In the meantime, Mare has nicely agreed to step in for me with the updates. And there’s lots coming up in the next two weeks so stay tuned!
